Welcome
Welcome to Teaching with Love! My name is Hollee Saville and I offer trainings and consulting to educators and families in Minnesota...and beyond.
I am originally from San Diego but have lived in St. Michael since 2004 with my wonderful husband, Jonathan, and our sons, Jaxen (5) and Preston (3). In my "free time," I love hanging out with my family, playing games and cards, playing most sports, volunteering in the community, designing websites, and baking. I graduated from the University of San Diego in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and attended USD and California State University San Marcos for my Masters in Education.
I care for children
because I truly enjoy being with them and helping them grow. As the oldest
of 6 children, for whom I helped care, I was raised with a love and
passion for caring for kids. I have been
working with children (officially) for more than 20 years. Over the years, I have worked
as a teacher, assistant teacher, and director in myriad schools and programs, with children
from infants through high school, and those with special needs, as well.
In 2005, I was finally able to fulfill my dream of opening my own family
childcare, Happee Hollee's Childcare.
I have been NAFCC-Accredited since March 2008, was the first Eco-Healthy Family
Childcare in Minnesota, and have been nominated for Wright County Provider of
the Year for the past 3 years.
I have attended more than 1000 hours of relevant training, including education courses, and attend
many more trainings than my license requires. I am a member of the National Association for
Family Child Care (NAFCC), Minnesota Licensed Family Child Care Association
(MLFCCA), Provider’s Choice Food Program, Twin Cities' Providers, and am President and Training Coordinator of the Wright County Family Child Care Association
(WCFCCA).
I also subscribe to several publications that
expand my knowledge of all aspects of early
childhood education. I believe that the more I learn, the better childcare
provider I can be.
